I’m a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Communications (Journalism).
My interest in communications started in high school, and my experiences in college solidified that interest. I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had thus far in the field, and I look forward to what is to come.
In the journalism world, I’ve experienced the thrill and challenge of political reporting during the legislative session in Olympia, Washington. I’ve tackled front page stories at a major metropolitan newspaper. I’ve broken out of my comfort zone by living and reporting in Amman, Jordan. Additionally, I’ve learned what it takes to keep up with the competition at TV stations in the 12th biggest media market in America.
It’s at my journalism internships that I’ve learned how to write, speak, and communicate in other mediums effectively. After graduation, I shifted focus and interned at the world’s largest public relations agency, where I mastered the skills necessary to succeed in PR. Now, after moving down to Southern California, I am looking forward to find a position with a public relations agency that is challenging and fulfilling, and I cannot wait to see where my career takes me.
